At Aspire Children’s physiotherapy we specialise in the gross motor development of children.
We can assess and treat your child in their own home, school or nursery. This allows the child to behave in a more relaxed fashion, reducing stress for them and allowing us to have a true picture of their abilities, as well as any challenges they face in that environment.
We believe in a multidisciplinary approach and are happy to work and communicate along side other healthcare professionals, education professionals along with family and other carers involved with your child.
We are now able to offer online consultations. These consultations offer an excellent alternative for those who do not feel comfortable with others entering their homes during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as those who do not live within a commutable distance from Bolton.
About Eilidh
I was born and brought up in Inverness, Scotland before moving to Edinburgh to study BSc (HONS) Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University College.
Whilst studying for my degree I worked as assistant therapist at Ross County Football Club
Upon graduation I completed my basic rotations at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, before working for 2 years as a locum physiotherapist in a variety settings.
In 2004 I made the decision to specialise in child development and began working for Chorley & South Ribble PCT as a “Specialist Physiotherapist – Children & Families”.
It had always been my desire to offer support to families in need no matter where their location. The normalisation of video consultations due to the Covid-19 pandemic gave me this opprtunity.
In 2020, having left my NHS role, I formally launched Aspire Children’s Physio.
I am now able to offer virtual, as well as face to face consultations, as well as running the Aspire Community on facebook. The community provides a safe space for parents & carers to seek guidance and reassurance from either myself or other parents.
This has been especially useful to new parents who have struggled to access traditional services during the pandemic.
